Welcome to the official website of The Law Reviewers.  We're two lawyers from Dallas, Texas who write restaurant reviews for the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers' monthly newsletter, The Dicta, and for DFW's hyperlocal news site, PegasusNews.com

We wanted to give all of cyberspace a way to check out our reviews and find out more about the Dallas restaurant scene.  So, check out our blog (we know, that's SO 2004) where we dish on the state of Dallas restaurants and anything else we feel like writing about.

Coming soon... more reviews and lots o' cool stuff so look out!

Just What the Doctor Ordered
Decent Texas BBQ in Downtown Dallas?!?  Move over, Dickey's and Sonny Bryan's clones, Dr. Bell's BBQ is giving Big D diners something meatier.

Meat is Murder... Tasty, tasty Murder
What's our New Year's resolution?  Eat more meat!  Check out our review of Maple and Motor and see why.

Golden Gavels V: The Undiscovered Gavels
Our 2009 Golden Gavel Awards recognizes all the undiscovered/underrated food and food establishments in town and has more Star Trek references than you can shake a tribble at.

Curry Fever
Here's our review of Taj Mahal, a new Indian restaurant downtown.  See why we think you should only go there if you're desperate from some curry (or Jean Claude Van Damme cameos).

Smoke, Um, Don't Got 'Em
Check out our review of Smoke and see what we think this Southern smokehouse concept needs to change before it gets banned (from a return visit by us).

A Review You Can't Refuse
Guess how many Godfather references we worked into our review of Italian restaurant (& lounge) Fedora? The winner gets a year's supply of Luca Brasi and all you-can-eat fish!

A Whole New World (of Raw Fish)
Is there a better way to beat the summer heat than sucking down lots of sushi in an air-conditioned building?  We couldn't think of any so check out our review of Sushi World and see what we thought.
